Orville McKinley (Awno Ka) Legal Defense Fund

Greetings My name is Orville Mckinley, but most know me as Awno Ka. I am fundraising for my legal defense and bail regarding an arrest for possession of Mushrooms, Lsd, & MDMA. Firstly, I stand as a witness to the power of these medicines to change peoples lives for the better. I stand as a believer that no government entity has the right to stop an adult individual human being from expanding their minds or bringing healing to their souls through these medicines.

I was the target of a concentrated undercover investigation .

 

I am being charged with offenses that will carry jail time of 8-24 years.

I am also a survivor of Kidney failure, receiving a kidney transplant in May of 2017. Transplanted kidneys last on average 10-12 years. So if convicted this would mean that I spend the rest of my life in jail.

I have spent the last 14 years being a servant to my community. Bringing clarity and peace of mind to 100's of souls as a minister and counselor. For the last 5 years I have led a Soul healing dance meditation group that has become the center of a true community here in Nashville, Somatic Sundays .

 

I ask for your help as I stand against the forces of state oppression.

 

The funds will be used to pay for Bail, Legal Defense, and living expenses.
