Orvieto, Italy - Trumpet Festival

Hey y’all! My name is Bradly Mathews and I’m a senior Music Education student at the University of Arkansas. This June the UARK Trumpet Studio is traveling to Italy for the 2024 Trumpet festival in Orvieto, Italy. Thanks to our trumpet professor being invited as a guest professor he was given the opportunity to bring along his trumpet studio.

This week of the festival will offer daily masterclasses on small and large trumpet ensemble playing, individual playing, warm up sessions and interactions with guest faculty where we will be able to perform for them and get feedback to better our trumpet playing. Not only is this an amazing opportunity to travel to another country but to be able to perform in historic buildings/places and take in the different culture.

Thankfully the cost to attend the festival is covered by funds from the UARK Trumpet Studio, so your contribution will help me afford the cost of the plane ticket and any other travel expenses that may appear out of the blue.
