ORU to USRowing Youth Nationals

If you're reading this, you probably know a teenager that rows with Oregon Rowing Unlimited (ORU), which is a non-profit 501c(3) rowing club in Portland, Oregon. Last weekend, at the USRowing Northwest Youth Championships, eight ORU rowers qualified to compete at the USRowing Youth National Championships!
We only have two weeks to raise funds to get us to this prestigious competition, which is being held in Sarasota, Florida, beginning on June 9th.

We are trying to raise $9000 by June 9th to help cover the costs of boat/oar transportation, regatta fees, team van rental, and coaching fees. ORU is a nonprofit club, and the smallest youth rowing team in Portland. The team doesn't have the budget for sending rowers to competitions, which means that each child that qualified for Nationals must now contribute to the costs (in addition to being responsible for their own airfare/hotel expenses).
Five days a week, every single week of the year, we spend our afternoons and evenings training. If you live or work in Portland, you've probably seen us rowing on The Willamette, or jogging through the streets of Sellwood. We pour our hearts and souls into this sport, and are so honored and excited to be able to represent Oregon and ORU at a national competition.
