St. John the Divine Orthodox Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana is a rapidly growing church community needing a building. The deep roots of our community's history continue to bear fruit not only in Lake Charles but all across South Louisiana. Fire, hurricanes, and events beyond our control have forced us into temporary housing for far too long. Our members' hard work, dedication, and generosity have brought us right up to the brink of breaking ground for a new building on our new property. Still, with the unprecedented rise in the cost of building materials over the past year or two, we absolutely need your help to cross the finish line and build a home for Orthodoxy in Lake Charles.
