Orris and Gonzalez fire fund

Hi, my name is Angie Palombi. I am a friend and neighbor of Bob, Karen, Megan and Emma. Bob and Karen, their daughter Megan and grandaughter Emma rent a house in our neighborhood on Starburst St. This family has been a blessing in our lives for several years now. They live right across the street and their young daughter/grandaughter Emma is best friends with our daughter Lilly and their other neighbor Meredith. Those 3 amigos are inseparable. They have pitched in countless times with letting Lilly come to hang out with them when we had to work. They are integral in our cul de sac gatherings and good people with big hearts. This part of our neighborhood is FAMILY. We each come from all sorts of backgrounds, beliefs and differences, but when one of us is in need the response is overwhelming and immediate.

Friday evening while they were on their way to Tennessee, their next door neighbors saw flames coming from the back of their home they rent and called the fire department. Though they got there pretty quickly and extinguished the flames (Thank God for our local firefighters), the entire house was engulfed in black smoke, and soot and damaged with water. The family cat and fish still in the house were found and are alive. The family is doing well, but are weary and overwhelmed with the tasks that lie ahead for them. They are in a local hotel and hope to get into a place with a kitchen soon. They will need all the basics to cook and live until insurance has completed the investigation. The insurance company will of course cover most of the damage, but not 100%.

I am creating this go fund me to help with any costs they incur and maybe give them a little joy in the spirit of Christmas and giving.
