Orrell Group "Brave the Shave"

We would like to share some fantastic news for an excellent cause, which has always been close to our hearts but even more so recently with some unexpected news that we have received.

This Go-Fund page has been set up to gather charitable donations for our staff who will ‘BRAVE THE SHAVE’ in support of those going through Chemotherapy. Hair loss is a common side effect of chemotherapy for many, and the team would like to show support to those by making this simple gesture.

Any monies raised will be distributed between ELHT & Me for Cold Caps and our Local Hospice (East Lancs).

This is a subject that is close to many people’s hearts with loved ones, family and close friends and we will strive as a team to achieve fundraising for continued help and support needed.

For those who are unsure of the charity needed for cold caps, a Cold Cap is a hat that is worn during chemotherapy treatments. Its cooling effect reduces blood flow to the scalp, which also reduces the amount of chemotherapy medication that reaches this area. This helps to prevent hair loss.

We as a team would greatly appreciate any donations given and wholeheartedly thank every one of you.
