Orphanage kids from Volta home in Ghana

Hi, Hello, Hola, Hallo, I’m David.

I grew up in the Volta Home orphanage in Ghana as a orphan where I was raised by Mama Cook. She is our cook in Volta Home orphanage.

Volta Home is a non profit organisation. We are taking care of 45 kids from all over the country. We are providing them with shelter, food, education and a lovely home. We are living together as a family everybody is helping where they are needed.

We are working on our own farm to provide food, but still it’s not enough. We want to increase the farm so the kids don’t have to eat the same food everyday and also we can use some of the founds to provide for the kids schools supplies.

We also don’t have the access to clean drinking water.

This is also one of the important reason to get medical cards for the kids.

If the kids are feeling sick, with the cards, the kids can go anytime to the hospital if they need to.

With your donation you give us the opportunity to get our kids their needed insurance and the opportunity to grow our farm.
