Orphanage Boarding school

We have recently acquired a plot of land in East Somalia and aim to build an orphanage and boarding school with adequate facilities, making a comfortable home and learning environment for the most underprivileged of society.

This project aims to improve the outcomes of disadvantaged orphans and children in a country where 3 million children are out of school due to poverty or long distances to school.

So far a sister (may Allah reward her) has kindly donated to build a masjid on the site and work on that is in progress. We are now raising the money to build an orphanage and boarding school which will include: dormitory facilities, kitchen/dining area, playground, classrooms, and access to clean water and sanitation facilities.

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying, “The best house among the Muslims is one where an orphan is well treated, and the worst house among the Muslims is one where an orphan is badly treated.” (Al-Bukhari)

This cause is close to my heart and regular updates will be provided.
