"Or Not to Be" - UW Student Film

This short film, with the working title of "Or Not to Be," is a production by Disassembly Line Productions. Our film follows Frank and Moose, two college hockey players who embark on a night of bar-hopping. However, Frank soon discovers that there’s more to Moose than he is letting on, which will force the pair to question the nature of their relationship.
This semester, ten talented students are collaborating from start to finish on a short film for the Communication Arts’ Film Production’s Capstone Course. We will take our experiences from past classes to contribute to our project. The culmination of multiple years of production classes will help each of us fulfill the requirements of our individual positions.

We have been granted this unique opportunity to create a short film with like-minded students, the guidance from instructors, and access to the University’s film equipment. As a group, we carefully assessed what we need in our budget. In time, we concluded that in order to create the best film we can, we need $8,500. The money fundraised will be used to help pay for: actors, food, transportation, equipment, locations, festival entries, promotion, costumes, original music, and camera rentals.
