The Orner Family Flood Recovery

Our family has lived on the Blanco river for over 2 years. We survived the Halloween flood without issues. Unfortunately, the historic flood this Memorial Day weekend destroyed everything. Our house was completely submerged. We have lost everything - our home, our belongings, even our car. We have a wonderful community in Wimberley. Everyone is answering all our immediate needs. We each have a change of cloths, hygiene supplies, and a temporary place to stay. As our community and the Red Cross address our immediate needs, we are planning our next steps to recovery. Insurance isn't going to cover the home and belogings. Fortunately, the car is covered. We will need to completely start over - funiture, dishes, pots & pans, towels, beds, chairs, dressers, etc. There has been an overwhelming outcry to help our family. We've started this fund to provide a simple quick way for those that want to help us. Again, our immediate needs are being met by our community. This fund is focused on our future and ability to recover. Thank you for your help and prayers.
