UPDATE: They are staying in a hotel at the moment all the way by destination Daytona but are trying to get into a rental until their insurance claim is done which the adjuster said it’ll take about a year to see a check. My little sister still goes to sea breeze high school so they need a rental close to there. They found one that would be perfect but it’s 5,200 to move in and then they will all need new beds and basic furniture. I’m doing everything I can to help them but I have 4 kids and I work full time also so I can’t be there as much as I want to be. I’m my nanas oldest granddaughter and my little sister just moved in with them last year from South Carolina. Please help me get them into somewhere before Christmas!

Today, my nana, grandpa, and little sister's house caught on fire in Ormond Beach at 103 Lucky Drive. Thankfully, everyone is okay, but it completely destroyed their whole house. They don't even have any clothes or anything left from it, and they ultimately deemed the house unsafe because of the structural damage. So, they now have to stay somewhere else till we can get everything figured out with the insurance company and figure out their long-term plan. This is so awful happening around the holidays, and this is where we always met up for Christmas every year.
