Hi, we are Kent and Emma, last night Saturday 19 July at around 10:30pm we were awoken and alerted to smoke coming from our next door neighbours house at Ormeau, on the northern Gold Coast. Within minutes, the house was engulfed with smoke and fire.

Thankfully, everyone got out safely, thanks to the quick thinking of another neighbour, Paul. Emergency services were promptly called and did an amazing job to extinguish the flames and avoid the fire spreading to neighboring homes.

Our next door neighbours and good friends, Leighton and Gina are an amazing couple with two young daughters, two dogs and a cat. They have lost everything and are now faced with the massive and emotional task of having to start again.

All funds raised will be used to assist the family with the essentials required, such as clothing, furniture, bedding, kitchenware etc.

We would greatly appreciate any donations that can be spared to help get this beautiful family back on their feet!
