Orlov Family Fund - Ukraine Crisis Relief

Hi, my name is Anastasia Vassiliev. I am currently situated in Chicago, IL. I started this fund to collect relief for my family members in Ukraine who are deeply affected by the war with Russia. There are more than 200,000 displaced Ukrainians in the city, Lviv, not far from the Polish border, including my family. As you know, over 2.1 million people have now had to flee the country and seek refuge from the disastrous consequences of this crisis. My moms nephew, Yura Orlov, is doing all he can to support his family and elder mother, Galia, but they are now separated and going through something no family should. He, his son, Plato, and wife, Anya, have been forced to evacuate from their home in Kharkiv to seek safety. They are currently in Lviv, Ukraine the safest option there is, waiting for a way to get to a safer part of Europe. Our family and friends are currently looking for a way for Plato and Anya to find refuge and get out safely. Yura’s brother Sergei and his elderly mother Galia are in the captured city of Kherson. Since the conflict in 2014, my family has been struggling through economic and political issues affecting Ukraine. Now, like others they are dealing with limited access to human necessities such as food, electricity, and basic facilities, and don’t know when they will see each other again. I am asking you to share this fund to anyone you know who may be able to contribute anything to help the Orlov family and to spread awareness of how families across Ukraine are being affected. ANY amount helps! Can you imagine going through something like this? I can’t even wrap my brain around it…
