ES: Hola, mi nombre es Paola Nieto, soy la hija de Orlando Nieto o como sus amigos lo conocen “Nano”. Mi papá es nuestro súper héroe, luchador, el hombre más maravilloso y trabajador que he conocido en mi vida. Esposo, papá, abuelito y amigo muy querido por todos.
Él es trabajador de la Salud y profesor universitario, y ha estado en el frente de Batalla del Covid desde un inicio, ha ayudado a muchos pacientes con Covid y pese a los riesgos no quiso nunca abandonar su puesto de batalla, él es Lic. En Radiología en una clínica de la ciudad de Mérida. Mi papá es trasplantado por lo que toma inmunosupresores, lo que quiere decir que tiene pocas defensas en su organismo, por lo tanto, cualquier enfermedad para mi papá puede llegar a ser muy peligrosa.
En las últimas semanas luego de la segunda dosis de la Vacuna del COVID-19, su salud se ha visto considerablemente afectada, en un inicio los Médicos pensaron que eran efectos adversos y tardíos de la vacuna, luego de varios días de pruebas y exámenes, el día Viernes 03/05/21 se descubrió que parte de su fiebre y malestares venían dado por la Bacteria Salmonella Typhi, se inició con tratamiento, pero lamentablemente, no ha reaccionado favorablemente al mismo, y comenzó a tener problemas respiratorios y taquicardia por lo que por su delicada condición, se repitieron exámenes, dando positivo para COVID-19 y tuvo que ser internado de emergencia en el Centro Clínico de Mérida.

Paciente: Orlando Nieto de sexo masculino de 59 años de edad quien representa insuficiencia respiratoria aguda, neumonía bilateral. Covid-19 motivo por el cual amerita tratamiento medico a base de hidratación fisiológico, macrovancomicina, enoxioparina, omeprazol, vitamina c, vitamina d, zinc, dipirona, Tocilizumab, losartan.

He’s a health worker and university professor, and has been in the front line of the Covid battle from the beginning, he has helped many Covid patients and despite the risks he never wanted to leave his battle position, he is a Radiology professional in a clinic in the city of Merida. My dad is a transplant recipient so he takes immunosuppressants, which means that he has lower defenses, therefore, any disease for my dad can become very dangerous.

In the last few weeks after the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, his health has been considerably affected. At first the doctors thought that they were adverse and late effects of the vaccine, after several days of tests and examinations, on Friday 03/05/21 it was discovered that part of his fever and discomfort were caused by the Salmonella Typhi bacteria; treatment was started, but unfortunately, he has not reacted favorably to it, and began to have respiratory problems and tachycardia (heart over 100 beats per minute), so due to his delicate condition, tests were repeated, giving positive for COVID-19 and he had to be hospitalized in emergency at the Centro Clínico de Merida.

The medical report from the lung specialist states:

Patient: Orlando Nieto, male, 59 years old, with acute respiratory failure, bilateral pneumonia. Covid-19 reason for which merits medical treatment based on physiological hydration, macrovancomycin, enoxioparin, omeprazole, vitamin c, vitamin d, zinc, dipyrone, Tocilizumab, losartan.
