Help Orla See Past Retinoblastoma
Just before her 2nd birthday, our sweet Orla was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer found in children. On the best advice of her doctors and after talking to other families who have been through it, we decided the best chance to cure her cancer completely was to remove her eye. There is a very small chance that some cancer remains, in which case she will need to receive systemic chemotherapy to treat it. Within the next month, Orla will receive a new prosthetic eye and will require ongoing adjustments and additional prosthetic replacements as she grows into adulthood. Funds raised will cover costs for treatments and doctor visits, replacement prosthesis, co-pays and deductibles. All funds received will be held in a special trust to be used strictly for Orla's benefit. Your love, generosity, and gifts are so appreciated.
