Orissa's Path to Nationals: A Dream in Motion

Hello, friends — we need your support!

Our daughter Orissa started walking at just 9 months old, and by the age of 2, she was riding a scooter and a bike. The moment she could run, she looked up at me and said, "Mommy, I want to run."

Fast forward to 2023: she finally got the chance to run with a club track team. In her very first season, she ran the 100m in 15 seconds — placing in the top 20 — and finished in the top 15 in the 200m. She was hooked from day one.Now, in 2025 and just her third year in the sport, Orissa is currently ranked #1 in New York State by USATF in the 100m for her age group! She's now qualified for both the USATF National Junior Olympics in Georgia and the AAU Youth National Championships in Texas at the end of July. We really need your support in getting her to both of these nationals . This will be her first time at nationals and we couldn't be prouder .
