Hello! My name is Sarah. I am starting a fundraiser for my spouse, ori. 18 years ago on Christmas Eve they received a heart transplant. Because of this, they have been able to live a wonderful, full life. We met in 2015 and were married on Halloween 2016. He has been an amazing coparent to my biological children. We became foster parents and welcomed over 10 children into our home. We were able to adopt twins who are now 3. Our children are the most important thing to us and bring us so much joy.

In October of 2021 Ori’s heart went into an abnormal rhythm. They were admitted to the hospital to fix it. Because of the rhythm problem they ended up developing a blood clot in their heart. They are unable to fix the problem until the blood clot is dissolved. They are on blood thinners and medication to help keep their heart rate down. This has led them to being exhausted all the time. Because of this, they are unable to work. Because his heart is sick, his immune system is shot. He has also been sick with a cough, rash and major UTI. We were happy to hear that this is not the beginning of rejection of his heart and that it can be fixed with a simple surgery once the blood clot is gone. He is our main source of income, often pulling overtime to pay for the things our family needs. Despite this, we still live paycheck to paycheck. Needless to say, we did not have a savings to help us in a time of need. I am currently working 2 jobs to help but it is still not enough. We are asking for donations to help with basic living expenses and to help pay off medical bills from his stay in the hospital. He is an amazing man who is kind, funny, and loves his family. He lives to make his kids laugh and feel loved. Please consider helping us out in our time of need or at least sending us some good vibes.
