The time of year has come, and God has opened a huge door of opportunity - This is the Origins Basketball Outreach Experience.
My name is Matthew Carraway, and I've been blessed with yet another opportunity to partner with Origins Basketball, an organization that aims to bring the game of basketball back to its Christian roots. Not many know that James Naismith(the originator of basketball) pioneered the sport as a way to reach inner-city youth with the love of Christ via the Gospel message. Through the Origins Basketball Outreach Experience, players will receive elite basketball training while also being spiritually equipped to impact the world through the sport. This year, we will be doing outreach in Manila, Philippines!
All that to say, if you believe in the vision of Origins and the calling God has placed on my life, please feel free to support! My total goal is $6500. This covers travel expenses, basketball training equipment, food, outreach supplies (for the Manila people), and room and board for me and my wife.
So far we raised $6,244 Between GoFundMe, Cashapp and Zelle. Our goal left is to raise is $256 by June 13th.
