My name is Orianna Gutierrez and I am an operatic soprano currently studying at Florida International University.
It has been my dream since I was young to sing and perform for a living. There is nothing I love more than sharing music with others all over the world... and now I can!
I am fortunate to have been accepted to the prestigious Vienna Summer Music Festival where I will be involved in four operas during the month of June: I’ll be playing Veronica in School of Marital Happiness, Rebecca in The Shower, and understudying Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, among others.
This program offers daily masterclasses and lessons with the finest vocal coaches and teachers that Europe has to offer and will also serve as an immersive experience for me bridging academia and professional performance in opera.
My goal is to raise $6,000 within the next month to cover living, tuition, and transportation expenses. Coming from an immigrant family means that money is tight. This has always inspired me to do my best so that money will never be an obstacle. This is the opportunity of a life time, and I am asking for your help.
