Dear Residents of Colleyville
As the owners of local organic food establishments and as residents of Colleyville, we have teamed up and are donating 200 cold pressed juices and 200 noCheeseCake ™ jars to help boost the immune system of the people on the front lines in our beloved city of Colleyville. We will deliver them this coming Tuesday and we would love to be able to continue to support them so we have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise money. Now more than ever they need -- not just any kind of food -- but healthy and nutritious foods and beverages that will boost their immune systems and keep them in top shape to stay in the fight until the battle against this dreaded disease is finally won. With the generous contributions of concerned citizens, we will be able to make these products and deliver free of charge to the First Responders every week until the end of April 2020.
As owners of the only organic plant-based food establishments in this area, our mission even before this terrible pandemic has always been centered on disease prevention through healthy eating. We now can all pitch in to help maintain the health of those who are so selflessly serving our community and helping to save countless lives. Our two businesses, CV Local Juicery™ (organic cold pressed juices - full of vitamins, minerals and superfoods to help boost one’s immune system ) and DessertsRx® (organic plant based desserts, full of superfoods, rich in vitamins, minerals, protein and healthy fats - can be eaten for breakfast, snack or as a meal replacement) are ideally suited for this effort. All money raised will be used solely for this purpose.
There are approximately 200 men and women serving the city of Colleyville, the firefighters, the police and city employees. They are performing heroically under a great deal of stress. We have noticed that people in these professions are especially prone to getting sick and now more than ever they need high-quality nutrition to help them remain strong and healthy.
DessertsRx® and CV Local Juicery have been closed to help stop the spread of the virus, but getting these healthy and nutritious items to the people who need them the most right now is absolutely essential. These products yield many proven health benefits and will help build up immune systems without risking the complications brought on by so many other foods, which are highly processed and detrimental to good health.
No donation is too small and will help us to move forward in bringing this truly vital, high-quality nutritional assistance to those who so desperately need it on the front lines.
