Or Partouch, my uncle, is an amazing 25 year old boy who is sick with a stage 3 brain tumor.
He is living in NY with his mom and undergoing alternative treatment . In the past month, Ori's situation has gotten worse - he lost the ability to hear, he sees x2 and has difficulty walking, he cannot swallow properly and most of his day is spent in his studio apartment because of his immobility. All of this has made him dependent on his mom for everything. shower him and feed him since he can no longer take care of himself.
Or & his mom currently sleep in a studio apartment uptown but given the severity of his current state he is in immediate need of a two-bedroom apartment. The reason being that Or's mom can no longer take care of him alone and a caregiver is needed full time.
In addition to Or's need for a new home for a caregiver while in NY his day to day expenses have become immense. The experimental treatment and living expenses cost up to $4700 per month. Since he cant walk a cab needs to be taken from appointment to appointment. Moreover Or has taken it upon himself to follow a strict vegan diet ( which we all know isnt cheap in NY).
Most importantly, Or was recently adviced by his neuro oncologist in Columbia Prespitaryan a biological drug that has a chance to save his life but it costs 9,000$ a month and he needs at least 4 treatments to see if its working!
Or is in urgent need for financial assistance and as a community any help we give can mean changing this young boys life. Thank you from my family we truly appreciate the support and please please help share this link!!!
