Hi everyone,

This past week has been one of the scariest of my life. My cat Oreo—my best friend and companion since he was a tiny kitten—suddenly developed a urinary blockage. For male cats, this condition is extremely dangerous and can even be deadly if not treated right away. The only option was to have him catheterized, which cost me $700. I scraped everything I could together to cover it, but it has left me in a really tough spot financially this month.

Oreo is slowly on the mend, but he’s not completely out of the woods yet. If I hadn’t been able to pay for his care, I would have faced the heartbreaking choice of putting him to sleep just to end his pain. Thankfully, he got the treatment he needed and now has a chance at a full recovery.

I don’t like asking for help, but any little bit would truly make a difference for Oreo’s care and help ease the financial strain this emergency has caused. Even sharing this page means so much.
