Thank you for taking the time to read about my girl
For a guy that was never a dog lover this girl came into my life and stole my heart and patience lol
About a year ago Oreo had surgery for having bladder stones . They told me at the time that they are hereditary and her bodies just will always produce the crystals. She was put on a special diet . She was good with the diet for a bit then decided not to eat for over a week . Me being the pushover I caved and went to a chicken , liver ,rice and sweet potato meal. She went back to eating and being her old loving playful self . No problems att all and we thought we were in the clear. Fast forward to just over a year .
I got a call from my hero neighbor that my house was on fire . First thing that came to my mind that Oreo was home alone . Firefighters were searching my smoke filled house looking for her, they found her hiding under my bed scared as can be . They brought her out and I've never cried so much to have her back safe. The girl was in so trama and stress but she was not too worried to give everyone love and kisses. After her staying with a close friend that night she came back to her dad . We couldn't stay too far away from each other for too long lol. I noticed in the day that her pees were not normal. Right away we headed to emergency vet hospital . After them taking tests and coming back with the results , it was the worse news I could imagine that the stones were back. Right away all I could think about was what she has gone through the past 2 days . They gave me meds to kind of ease the pain and for the swelling . Her bladder is slowly filing up and eventually there is a chance for it to burst and my poor girl will be in worse conditions. They recommend a surgery, after the house fire Friday my whole life is turned upside down. I don't want to make that decision.
Oreo was never a dog she was Jaden's sister and he was her brother, she is my baby girl that got me through alot . In February I lost my mother suddenly and honestly if it wasn't for Oreo I'm not sure how I would have made it. She stayed by my side showed affection , the saying is true " man's best friend" .
We want to keep our happy little family together so thank you all who took the time to read this and could fhelp donate . It's a rough world out there for everyone. These are the times we all come together. Thank you and Oreo loves all her friends
