Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
We are absolutely heartbroken to share that our precious 7-month-old Ragdoll kitten, Oreo, has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).
Oreo came to us as the tiny runt of her litter, and she has brought nothing but gentle love and joy to our home ever since.
Tragically, she suddenly became severely poorly and anaemic.
The Good News: FIP is no longer a death sentence. There is a highly successful 84/42 day antiviral treatment that can completely cure her.
The Challenge: Because she became so critically ill, her emergency stabilization, blood tests, and specialist medications are estimated to cost a staggering £6,000 and could rise to £8,500
Our family is currently walking through an incredibly dark and difficult time of personal grief and bereavement. Ordinarily, we are the kind of people who would simply put our heads down and work extra hours to cover an unexpected crisis. But right now, we are emotionally exhausted, and we physically cannot face this mountain of veterinary costs alone.
We are not a family who would usually ask for help to ask, but facing a massive emergency veterinary bill out of nowhere is a huge shock.
We are doing everything we can for her, but we cannot climb this financial mountain alone.
We refuse to give up on Oreo when a cure is right in front of us.
How you can help:
Donate: Every single penny goes directly to Oreo’s life-saving veterinary care and antiviral medication.
Share: If you cannot donate, please share Oreo’s link to help us reach more animal lovers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us fight for our sweet little girl.
With love and gratitude.
