On Dec. 23, 2023, Oren injured his hand as a result of a fall after a performance. On Jan. 3rd, Oren had surgery to repair a torn ligament and bone chip in his thumb. The result is a 2-3 month recovery period, during which he will be unable to play. Oren and Jess would like to express their thanks to the medical staff who have been 'on it', including Advanced Urgent Care, Mariners Hospital and Baptist Health!

Faced with losing his income for months, and mounting medical copays and high deductibles, Oren and Jess could use our help! They would be among the first to help someone in need. Everyone always asks, "What can we do to help?" In this case, we can best assist them by dropping a tip in his tip bucket, here, so we can insure that he will continue to be there as our neighbor, friend and entertainer, as he heals from this unfortunate accident.

We ask you to donate what you can, if you can, but equally important, that you share this so that everyone who would like to help can have the opportunity. The Key West motto is "One Human Family". We can show Oren and Jess just how much residents and visitors alike believe in this mantra. All funds raised will go directly to them, to help them through this temporary situation, until Oren can rock Duval Street once more!
