By day we are a group of regular guys with all the challenges of daily life. By night we are chasing history and adventure through the planning of a once in a life time expedition to retrace the Oregon Trail. The expedition will follow a pre-planned route through national forestry, logging, and old wagon roads from Oregon City, OR to Independance, MO. Our route travels through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas and finally Independence Missouri. The expedition will provide the opportunity to experience the self reliance, ingenuity and the perseverance through struggle that the original pioneers encountered while traveling 3000 miles down the Oregon Trail.
The Process leading up to and the execution of our expedition will be documented in our on going web based documentry series "One Lane Road". Our goal as OTO is not just to retrace the Oregon Trail but also to be ambassadors for the overland community and stewards of the trail. We are working hard to bring you new ways to experience history and adventure through the great outdoors. If you're inspired by our expedition and would like to buy us a few miles down the road kick us a couple buck$ and get our team a little closer to our dream.
