Oregon Ambassadors of Music 2024 Europe Trip

Hello, my name is Jackson Cooper, I am a high school freshman flute player, and have been nominated to attend the 2024 Europe trip by the Oregon Ambassadors of Music. I am fundraising by collecting cans and bottles from my neighbors, asking for sponsorships from local businesses, and starting this GoFundMe! I have a love for all instruments, and the ones I play too (Flute, Oboe, Piano, Guitar). I realized last year how important flute really is to me, and really started to work hard to get where I am today. I’ve made All-City Honor Band in 2021-2022 and also 2022-2023, as well as making Philharmonia Youth Symphony. I’ve been first chair at my high school and middle school for the past two years in Symphonic Band. By going on this trip, I’m really hoping to grow my skills as a musician, and explore the world out of the States. I look forward to experiencing different cultures, and languages while I am there as well. I am excited about the opportunity, and feel honored to have been nominated.
