"Can You Change a Life Through Art?"

At my school we are feeding children, we are educating them, and we are also offering them the opportunity to grow beyond their current circumstances. Yet this is not enough! The children at our school should also be given a chance to access the world of beauty that priviledged children thrive in.

You can help me change a life for as low as $20.

I am the Principal of a small school in Dallas, TX, where I work with several students that have heart-wrenching stories to tell. To put it simply, my students yearn for order and beauty--the kind of environment that makes young learners thrive.

For this reason I am trying to raise as much money as I can for an art collection that goes beyond what most schools can offer: to create the kind of educational experience that only children in the top tier schools encounter.

The goal of the this project is three-fold:

(a) To daily expose the children of our school to order through composition in art.
(b) To daily expose the children of our school to beauty.
(c) To bring to the children of our school hope by shaping their imagination through study of beautiful subject matter.

I have witnessed the transformative effects art can have on children.

Art can inspire children towards heroic behavior and it can also provide them with the kind of hope that will impel them to grow beyond their current situation.

Please help me give this hope to young students by helping me fund our school art project.
