Help Us Help the Orangutan Orphans of Borneo!
In late August, a medical team comprised of Professor Timothy Roberts, Dr Susanna Smart and Sarah Fell are traveling to the jungles of Central Kalimantan to support the extraordinary work of Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas and her team at the Orangutan Care Centre and Quarantine Facility (OCCQ). This life-saving clinic provides medical treatment, rehabilitation, and sanctuary for hundreds of orphaned and injured orangutans. Many are victims of deforestation and the illegal wildlife trade.
We will be taking medical and dental supplies that are in desperate shortage. Many of these supplies have been generously donated but others we need to purchase - such as chewable multivitamins for the orphaned infants and orthopedic supplies for the injured orangutans.
If you feel you can make a contribution- no matter how small it will make a difference.
Thank you!
