I'm Kurt, a DJ and producer from South London.
I've been DJing since I was 18, playing in clubs, bars, and the occasional festival. Over the years, music has opened doors for me, introduced me to incredible people, and given me opportunities I never expected. Now I'd like to use it to help create opportunities for others.
The problem is, I'm not a runner....
You won't find me signing up for a marathon, a half-marathon, or even a particularly ambitious jog around the block. My knees and I came to an agreement years ago.
So instead of raising money by doing something I'm terrible at, I'm raising money by doing something I love.
From now until summer next year, I'll be donating 50% of everything I earn from DJ gigs to this fundraiser. Every set I play, every booking I take, and every dancefloor I somehow convince to stay until the last track will contribute towards this campaign.
The aim is simple: to support creative projects and people with disabilities who face barriers to finding employment. Towards the end of the campaign, the funds raised will be allocated to a selection of charities and creative projects.
If you'd like to be part of the journey, I'd be incredibly grateful for your support. Whether that's donating, sharing the page, booking me for a gig, shaking a leg or simply cheering from the sidelines, every bit helps.
Let's see what happens when we turn music, creativity, and a bit of community spirit into something positive.
Thank you for being part of it.
