Oportunidad de superacion. Education opportunity

My daughter Cecilia Borroto López was awarded a scholarship for doctoral studies in the literature program at the University of Houston. However, she has to improve her English language level and the condition to make the scholarship effective is to previously take (during the Fall of 2023) an intensive semester of English which tuition cost lays around the sum of 5,500 dollars. On the other hand, she would require some pocket money to support herself in terms of room and board for the duration of the Fall semester since her scholarship stipend does not begin to be paid by the university until she successfully completes the required course of English.

I appeal to the generosity and good will of my friends and colleagues so that my daughter can fulfill her dream, I thank all the people who can support me.

A mi hija Cecilia Borroto López le fue otorgada una beca para estudios doctorales en el programa de literatura de la Universidad de Houston. Sin embargo, tiene que mejorar su nivel de idioma y la condición para hacer efectiva la beca es la obligación de cursar previamente un semestre intensivo de idioma inglés cuya matrícula es de alrededor de 5500 dólares. Por otra parte, requeriría de un dinero extra para sustentarse en cuanto a su alojamiento y alimentación durante ese semestre ya que el estipendio de su beca no lo empieza a pagar la universidad hasta que termine con éxito el curso requerido de inglés.

Apelo a la generosidad y buena voluntad de mis amigos y colegas para que mi hija pueda cumplir su sueño, agradezco a todas las personas que puedan apoyarme.
