Hi, my name is Opie. I am a 10-year-old Border Collie Mix who has been an active member of the community and a big help at Bikes Built Better in Horsham. Unfortunately, on Saturday, August 20th doing nothing more than having fun playing fetch, I injured my left leg. On Sunday, I was seen by the incredible staff at Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, whose initial diagnosis after X-Rays was torn ACL. (Technically CCL). After confirmation with my regular Vet Dr. Charlie at Line Lexington Veterinary Hospital, it looks like surgery is the only way I will get back to walking and playing. Surgery is estimated to be in the $5000 range and will still have a long recovery. I hope my fans can help and will schedule surgery as soon as possible.
