Hello my name is Laura, I am a staff nurse in ophthalmology.

In September, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet: running the Great North Run! ‍‍

I’m raising money for the Ophthalmology Department at the Cumberland Infirmary, where I work. It’s an incredibly busy and ever-growing department, and as demand increases, so does the need for more and better equipment.

Every donation will go towards improving the care we provide to our patients—whether that’s through updated technology or simply having more of the essential tools we rely on every day. These improvements can make a real difference to patients’ experiences and outcomes.
