Ophelias Wings – Honouring Her Light

In loving memory of Ophelia Lily, a beautiful soul who touched so many hearts in her short time on earth. Though she was only with us for a brief moment, her love, laughter, and light will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew her.

The Ophelia wings has been created to honour her legacy and provide support to the family and families experiencing unimaginable loss. Our mission is to bring comfort, raise awareness, and offer resources to parents navigating grief, ensuring no family walks this journey alone.

Our biggest vision is to raise awareness and funding for Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC)—a devastating and little-understood tragedy that takes the lives of healthy children without warning. Unlike SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), SUDC occurs in toddlers and young children over 12 months old, yet research and awareness remain limited. It’s the 4th most common cause of child death and there is little research or funding for this compared to SIDS many doctors and parents don’t even know it exists. Its affects 1 in 100,000 children but still takes hundreds of lives a year more than car accidents and fires.

With your generosity, we aim to:

• Support bereaved families with emotional and practical help.

• Raise awareness about sudden and unexplained child loss.

• Fund research into infant and toddler health to help prevent future tragedies.

•Raise awareness of SUDC so more parents, doctors, and researchers can recognise and study this condition as there is no any

• Create memory projects that help families honour and celebrate their little ones.
