Operation: Oaksterdam or Bust!
I am a cannabis educator in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. As a woman of color who has experienced firsthand the collateral damage from the first “war on drugs”, my life has prepared me to use my education and experiences to advance cannabis education in my community. I have spent the last several years educating others and working to change the way people feel, think, and talk about cannabis.
Because of my grass roots efforts, I have been awarded the Alice Huffman Black American Award, a scholarship to study cannabis at Oaksterdam University, America’s first cannabis college.
My mission is to use over a decade of experience in training and education to provide quality, affordable cannabis career education to economically disadvantaged communities in and around the city of Chicago. Your gift will open doors for people who have previously been shut out of the industry.
Your donation is a pivotal step in helping me to bring quality, affordable cannabis career education to the city of Chicago. You can make a monetary donation of any amount or make a recurring contribution toward a specific expense, such as:
• meals for one week: $200
• airfare: $300
• housing accommodations for one week: $500
• housing accommodations for one month: $2000
Please make your donation by December 15.
Thank you in advance for your prayers, support, and encouragement.
Sincerely,
Kiana Hughes
