Operation Happy Holidays

For the past 5 years, I've worked with the same elementary school teacher to provide presents for families in need. With everything that has happened this year, now more than ever, families need help. This is why I decided to start a fundraiser, so we could provide presents to as many families as we can. I believe there are amazing people out there that can make this happen. If 250 people donated just $20 each, we will reach our goal. If you can only donate $5, combined, with enough people, we can reach our goal. Together, we can do something amazing for families that really need a miracle. In the true spirit of Christmas, let's give to those who need it most!


I wanted this to be a fun experience for those involved, not just asking people for money. The fun part is actually shopping for the families. So, I thought of the idea for those living in Las Vegas forming teams with friends, family, and/or co-workers. Ideally, the money spent on each person in a family would be $150-$200. The families range in all sizes, so I would pair the teams with the right families based off of the money they can spend. Some families are as small as 2 people. If you are interested in forming a team, please contact me personally so I provide the Christmas list and we can coordinate shopping dates, wrapping and dropping off the presents. There is an option to contact me through this website, or you can direct message me on Instagram, or call me! 


Now there are two ways you can donate: 

1. You can donate directly to this GoFundMe. If you are donating on behalf of a team, please write the name in the comment section, so I can allocate the appropriate funds to each team. If you don't have a team or don't live in Las Vegas to shop for the families, you can still help tremendously, even with a $5 donation. Every dollar matters and will go towards providing presents for families that really need help this holiday season. 

2. If you formed a team and would like to raise money separately, your team can be an "offline donor." This mean that all the money raised by the team will be handled by that team only. GoFundMe does take 5% of the donations, so this may be more advantageous if you want to avoid the fees and prefer to deal with the financials. Please contact me directly if your team wants to do this so I can coordinate Christmas lists, shopping dates, wrapping the presents, and drop off dates for the presents. 


We will be dropping off the presents at the elementary school on Dec 15th. If your team can't make that day, we can coordinate dropping the presents off at my house anytime before that date.


I cannot express how thankful I am that even though many of you have lost so much this year, you still find it in your hearts to give. Your donation, no matter the amount, is going to provide presents for children that would had none. I truly believe that if you are a blessing to others, you will see blessings returned back to you.
