Operational Costs for City Style Tango

Dance allows us to experience fun, connection, and friendship in a place we look to return to time and again. The COVID-19 pandemic poses a serious challenge for those making a livelihood providing this dance connection.

When social distancing is over, we will need a place to come back together. City Style Tango is one of the major venues in Detroit for dance in general and for tango in particular, having been a mainstay in the community for the past 10 years. We’re looking to keep our 4000 square-foot Studio, which is the dance home to many groups and teachers, afloat during these times.

We’re so thankful for all of the love and support we’ve been receiving since we closed our doors last week. This funding will help us formulate a plan to make sure our doors re-open in the corona-wake.
