William Green—we often hear your contagious laughter in the hallways and can’t help but crack up!! His coworkers will tell you that he is never without a smile. Ok so he’s not smiling here but his wife Beverly chose this really great pic to share.
William Green is a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room and an expert in many services like orthopedics and ophthalmology (and pretty much anything he is asked to do). He is also a proud Marine, an amazing husband and father, and a top-notch trivia contestant at our daily huddle!
William suffered a stroke a few months ago; unfortunately the strokes have continued and have caused more setbacks with each one. Last week he was planning to return to work soon; yesterday he had another larger stroke that has left him with some physical deficits that will likely require months of rehab.
The mounting expenses of ambulance transports and medical bills is daunting to his family and continue to escalate. Our Children’s surgery family has graciously supported them along the way but the bills continue to grow. Additionally, his wife Beverly has had the added expense of hospital meals, frequent medical visits, and hotel stays so that she can be close by him while in the hospital.
Many may know that the past year before the strokes has been incredibly hard for the Green family. Last fall they lost their beloved daughter in a drowning accident while at the beach.
If you feel called to help our friend William and his family, please donate (even the smallest amount will help), pray for their family, and share this link with your friends or social media.
