Operation to regain eyesight

For several years, we (The Latkoczy Family) have been supporting a low-income family in Maros County in Transylvania, Romania. The mother, Edit, is fully blind in one eye and close to fully blind in the other. As one can only imagine, being a mother of five, Edit's loss of eyesight has brought tremendous hardship to the family.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel. For approximately a thousand dollars, Edit's blindness can be cured by a physician in the capital, Bucharest. The operation is scheduled for June 7. The cost of the surgical procedure and additional expenses will run approximately 1,000 dollars. Please see the attached picture of Edit with two of her daughters.
