Operation SAVE ROMEO from FIP

Operation Save Romeo. Meet Romeo, he came into our lives about a year and a half ago. Our family was going through one of the darkest times of our life and this little kitty was able to show us the light, he saved us. If you were to ask anyone who’s interacted with him, Romeo is one of the sweetest, most intelligent cats. He’s not a pet but a part of our family.
Sadly, within the past few days, Romeo’s health has declined drastically. We found that his lungs and heart had been surrounded by fluid, making it hard for him to breathe or function at all. Today, he was diagnosed with FIP or Feline Infectious Peritonitis. Up to 95% of cats with this disease will die if medication is not started swiftly. It is practically fatal.
There is a glimmer of hope with medication, the only issue is that it is very expensive and hard to get your hands on. The only way we can save the most important part of our family is to start injections and medication as fast as we can. Luckily enough, we have found access to meds through an organization and are hoping we see improvement. Anything helps for our Romeo.
