My name is Mia. I would like to introduce you to an amazing, hardworking, entrepreneur, my cousin, Noelle Mason, whose dream business--NoeyFresh--is on the brink of closure due to the unforeseen consequences of COVID-19.

Who is Noelle & What is NoeyFresh?

Noelle is a well-established African-American esthetician in the Bay Area who opened her skincare and eyelash extension specialty salon—NoeyFresh— in 2014. During the lean years, Noelle worked two full-time jobs (a management position and her beauty studio) to pay down her overhead while growing a client base. For nearly three years she worked 14-hour days six days a week determined to make her passion--NoeyFresh—succeed.

Today, she has an impressively diverse and loyal clientele who travel from all over the Bay Area to her San Ramon location. She is not only valued for her professionalism and witty personality, but her flawless work speaks volumes. She is truly great at what she does and her Yelp reviews illustrate this. Her clients will greatly miss her talents and bubbly personality if she is forced to close down permanently--but let’s not let that happen!

The Problem

In March 2020, when the Governor of California instructed businesses in California to temporarily close, Noelle understood the severity of the times and complied. Each month since then, she has been able to maintain her rent in order to honor her lease without taking a single client.

The month of August (and beyond), however, will be a hardship and that’s why I started this GoFundMe campaign. I don’t want to see my cousin lose everything she has worked years to build in a matter of a few months for reasons beyond her control!

Noelle is a dynamo solopreneur with big dreams although too small of a business owner to compete for small business loans offered during the pandemic. She is eager to get back to work in compliance with the new, state-ordered, safety guidelines, and regulations for the protection of her clients. But more than anything, she is eager to get back to keeping her clients looking flawless and lashtastic.
 
How Your Donation will be used

Your donation to this campaign will contribute greatly toward newly established Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements mandated by the state, to cover her rent and utilities, and supplies for next three months.
