Operation Save Dexters Life

Dexter our beloved beagle is 3 years old and is suffering from the following conditions: Lethargy, loss of appetite, Weight loss, hepatic encephalopathy, anemia, and dehydration.  Our family has struggled to manage the needs of his illness - he takes between 4 and 6 doses of medicine a day and requires a home cooked special diet.  We recently found out that his liver is over 50% dead, and the time he has to make a recovery is running out. He has had countless appointments and blood tests to rule out different things and monitor his liver levels, 2 ultrasounds, and a needle biopsy. Unfortunately all the testing we’ve done so far has not yielded a cause. He needs a surgical biopsy at which point there is 100% guarantee of a diagnosis and a more effective treatment plan that might be the only thing that will save his life. Without this test we are shooting in the dark & dexter has taken a sharp turn for the worst. He has stopped eating, become disoriented and is hiding away a lot. We do not have much time left. The total cost of the procedure and recovery will be around 5k. As of now we are short by $3500. If you are able to donate for the rest of his procedure please do, any little bit helps!
