Operation Save Dexter: Aid for Critical Vet Costs

My name is Tabitha Martin, and my poor angel of a cat, Dexter, has recently been diagnosed with a fully blocked urethra. Complications with his stay has resulted in a torn urethra. Now he has had to undergo a Perineal Urethrostomy (PU).
PU surgery is an evasive procedure that requires him to get two places of his urethra reconstructed. This is very sudden for us and with any emergency veterinarian it comes at a very steep cost.
We are looking at paying close to 10k in medical costs, With one income we have turned to the grace of anyone willing to help us keep our boy happy and healthy.

Dexter is a 4 year old Orange Tabby, like many orange cats he has a reputation for being crazy, silly and stubborn. We are hoping that stubbornness translates over to his strength during his recovery. Named by my dear friend after our favourite serial killer television show Dexter. He is polydactyl. His temperament with other animals is something that makes me proud everyday. He likes to be front and center at every party waiting for more belly rubs. To know him is to fall in love with him.
