Operation Restoration for Debbie

For some that might not know, Debbie has been dealing with quite a bit of pain for the last couple years dealing with hip issues. Although she has not let it slow her down, it has given quite of bit of discomfort and frustration as she works to manage all that she does. Debbie has tried different avenues to reduce the discomfort and pain, but her bone deterioration has really gotten bad over the last few months, and has had to resort to a cane to help her get around. Debbie is usually on the giving end, and never wants to be in the spot light. She is always involved in building homes with Casitas de Corazon, and she is always there to help us prep for the races. Debbie organizes all the tools and parts prior to the races, manages the pits, and will even make you a hot cup of coffee at all hours of the night. She has proven to one tuff Baja Queen.

She has done her research and over the last year she has optained medical insurance for us, and went throug all the steps to be approved for Hip Replacement surgery, and it will be taking place in Gilbert, Arizona later this summer. Although we have insurance, we'll still have a bit of a deductible to pay, travel expenses, and a few nights in hotel during her first day of therapy.

If we can raise some funds to help with out of pocket, that is great and will be appriciated. In the end we know that God will provide what is needed. We most of all ask for your prayers as we move towards this procedure that will help Debbie get out of this rut that she has been in for some time.
