Poundstone Flood Fund
Donation protected
My name is Martise. My colleagues and I are seeking donations for our dear friend and former co-worker Pam Poundstone and her husband, Arnie. After 20 dedicated years with our company, Pam recently left and relocated to Pooler, GA with Arnie and their big dog Elvis. She was (and remains) so excited to move south and be close to her son, Jerry, and his new wife. They even added a new pup to the family, Miss Reese! Pam and Arnie just finished settling in, although quite a few of their most beloved possessions were still packed in boxes in a downstairs bedroom. They thought they had more time…
Almost three weeks ago, Hurricane Matthew made landfall in SC. Despite being 10 miles inland, their new neighborhood was flooded by the storm. 15 inches of water rushed into their home, leaving them devastated and frustrated. Devastated by the extensive damage to their new home and the loss of their family heirlooms. Frustrated because they were very recently advised to forego flood insurance. At the time of this posting, none of the damages to their home or belongings will be covered by insurance.
Pam and Arnie are a loving, caring couple that tend to look after everyone around them. They would never ask for help - we would like to try to anyway. We will not be able to replace their heirlooms, but, we would like to help them get back on their feet. It’s going to be a big job, one we cannot do alone. We would love your help, in any amount you are able to give.
Aside from helping lift their spirits, our goal is to assist in offsetting the cost of the repairs to their home.
Thank you!
