Operation Nourish

When our world radically changed in early 2020 with the arrival of Covid-19 pandemic, we were all forced to adapt to new circumstances: social distancing rules, school closures, job uncertainty, food shortages and more. While many of us can do our part by staying home, thousands of brave women and men go to work every day in our hospitals. As front-line health care heroes, they prioritize our health and safety over their own. We wanted to make the lives of medical workers a bit better and show them our gratitude.


What better way to show our appreciation than by feeding someone a quality meal? As an added bonus, we could provide that meal from a local restaurant, supporting our small businesses and their employees, who are also suffering economically.

Thus, Operation Nourish was conceived by our founder Ajay Kshatriya. We raise private community funds to provide high-quality meals, supplied at or below cost by local restaurants, to healthcare workers at hospitals. Since April 2020, we have provided nearly 1000 meals. We operate throughout California, have established relationships with several hospitals and local restaurants, and have a volunteer force of drivers.

Along with every meal delivered, we also share our gratitude with healthcare workers through video and written messages.
