Meagan Englert's Surgery

Hello,

This is a fundraiser for Meagan Englert to help cover expenses as she receives her long-awaited kidney transplant.

Meagan is a loving wife, mom, and teacher. She has been an English teacher at Hays Middle School in Hays, KS, for three years and in education for over five years. If you have met her, you know how much she cares for her students.

In the last few years, it was discovered she would need a kidney transplant. After going through dialysis and waiting for a donor, her surgery was scheduled for September. Unfortunately, she came down with covid, and surgery had to be delayed. Because of the amount of time off from work that she has had to take due to dialysis and illness, her paid time off will quickly be depleted during her recovery. It's not certain exactly how long she will have to be gone from teaching, but possibly until the beginning of Spring Semester in January.

Her surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Meagan and her family have been good friends for many years and are some of the best people we know. Reaching this goal will allow them some relief and breathing room in these times.
