Hello, my name is Verena, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart for my dear friend, Nengai.

She is a Maasai grandmother from Lake Natron, Tanzania who recently suffered a terrible accident. Her leg was badly injured, and she needed urgent surgery to save it. The operation has been done, and she is now in the hospital, fighting to heal.

But her medical bills are still unpaid. The current estimated cost is $3,500, and more expenses will follow.

Her son, Olchulunoti, has tried his best to support her, but the costs are far beyond what he can manage.
