Hi everyone, I'm raising money to benefit Operation International Team Chicago. This upcoming April, I have been offered the opportunity to travel back to Africa to help perform surgical care to the people in Ghana. Any donation will help make an impact. This will be team Chicago’s third year. The first year we traveled to Uganda & performed 84 surgeries in one week, year two 112 surgeries in Ghana. This year we are hoping to continue to provide increase that number & continue to help more people!! Surgical cases varied from goiters to hernia repairs to burns contracture releases, and the lives of these individuals were drastically changed. We also visit an orphanage sponsored by Operation International and deliver clothing, toys, and food. We now plan to travel back to Ghana in April of 2023 and will have to bring all of our own surgical supplies with. For this reason, we are trying to raise >$50,000 to set up a fully functional surgical center to staff four operating rooms for the week. Any amount you can provide is greatly appreciated, both by me, the rest of the OI-Chicago team, and the people of Ghana, and 100% of the funds we raise go directly to the mission.
