Operation Hope For Kathy Ott

My name is Julie and I started this fundraiser to help out our dear friend Kathy Ott.

As many of you know, Kathy is fighting stage 4 endometrial cancer and as you can imagine, it has been an extremely hard journey for her. Kathy has always been a hard worker and takes pride in being overly independent which makes it hard for her to ask for help. That’s where I come in. I’m asking for help.

Kathy has 4 pups that she has rescued over the years that are in desperate need of dentals. Dr. Pam has generously offered to have her staff at the Animal Care Center donate their time for the procedures, but costs for blood work, anesthesia, meds, etc. need to be covered.

Now that Kathy is collecting social security rather than a comfortable salary she is struggling heavily to stay afloat. She probably won’t love me sharing this, but last month her gas was shut off by the city because she didn’t have the funds to even cover that. Her bills are piling up and the level of stress this is causing is just so unfair. It’s hard for her to focus on her physical and mental health while the stress is overtaking her body and soul.

Friends, Kathy desperately needs our help now.

Kathy is a fiercely loyal friend, a generous and caring friend and a damn good human and she couldn’t be more deserving of assistance at this time.

My hope is that we can raise enough to not only cover the vet bills, but to give her a cushion to keep her comfortable.
